There are countless reasons to why a person may leave your website and it could be because your site has a name that doesn’t go with the tone of the site, bad choice of colors, complex navigation, slow introductions to a site, pop-up advertisements, reminds them of their workplace, way too much text, makes them feel in a corporate environment and much more. Finally, all the reasons point to web design.

Following is a list of Do’s and Don’ts for an impressive web design that you can use to reduce the bounce rate of your business website.

DO’S DON’TS:
Keep a mobile-first method in mind and develop a responsive web design Don’t build a different web design for various gadgets or do not keep the mobile approach of the end
Keep your web pages clean, organized and filled with good contents Don’t overload your web pages by jumbling it with way too many pictures & text
Highlight on what is relevant and important Don’t place just about everything and anything

Blue color must be used for words with hyperlinks Don’t use blue color everywhere because you like that color. Visitors will get annoyed when they move cursor in a text in blue color, but the cursor doesn’t change into an arrow
